The saying goes, “if you have nothing good to say, then don’t say it at all.”

Many times, we all struggle to listen to this saying. Sometimes we find ourselves spilling out whatever is in our mouths without further thought. And other times, we withhold any words even though we know and believe we should be speaking.

Words are powerful. There is so much depth and value to our words, especially to the people who mean a lot to us. At times, we even find that our words mean much more significance to those we consider strangers around us.

True words echoed with love can go a long way, building and restoring others, especially when uttered at the right time.

Therefore, take time this week to think before you speak. Truly express your love to those around you through your words. No matter how big or small your words are, know that they are powerful to the receiving ears.
